”What the hell do we cook this Saturday evening?!” You ask yourself. Well, my dear, let me tell you, today you could cook this, for instance;

A salad with roasted cauliflower, pomegranate seeds, walnuts and serrano ham.
I just did, and it made me dance around the kitchen with joy!
”But, cauliflower, isn’t that a little boring?” you ask.
HELL NO, DARLING!
Have you ever tried roasting it in the oven, to get the nutty toasty flavour out? Combining it with fresh pomegranate seeds and the almighty king of nuts, and then topped the whole plate of loveliness off with some salty serrano ham and perhaps even sprinkled some pumpkin seed oil all over it? No? then please, please, for the love of God, do try.
It is a surprisingly exciting dish.
I broke my cauliflower down into little pieces, mixed them with a teaspoon of olive oil, a little sea salt and then  roasted them on a baking tray in the oven at really high heat for about ten minutes, or until they get a nice colour.
You could really go bananas with this dish; add mushrooms, bacon, all kinds of cheeses, nuts, fruit etc. Just take what you’ve got. As long as it contains roasted cauliflower and pomegranate seeds.
And of course you can always smack a steak on top of it if you think you are too macho for a salad.
