Protein dinner

Here is a great wintery stew which I enjoyed yesterday.
Full of healthy stuff and super tasty!
I had 3 portions because it was so damn good.

You need:
Beef (diced large chunks)
onions
baby tomatoes
crushed tomatoes
a couple of carrots
mixed mushrooms
a little red wine
a few glasses of water
lots of garlic
an anchovy
thyme, rosemary and whatever herbs you like
olive oil
a stock cube
a little chili
salt and pepper (of course)
and about 3 hours of patience while it cooks.

fry onion and meat in a big pot until they get a little colour, add the wine and let the alcohol   boil off. Add pretty much everything else apart from carrots, mushrooms and baby tomatoes, they go in when there is about 30 minutes left. Be generous with the garlic.
Let the stew simmer on a low heat, stir every now and again and add a little more water if needed.
Serve with more fresh herbs and TAADAAA! You can thank me later.
